Japan:

For many of you, Japan offers so much in a ski holiday that it’s really hard to think any further. No jetlag and only 9-10 hours flying time direct from Australia’s east coast makes Japan a must do on your next skiing adventure. Add to this the reliability and quality of snow, the long season and the joy of discovering the welcoming Japanese culture and you can see why so many Australians and even Europeans are making the pilgrimage.

 

In 2025 we will travel to the Aizu region north of Tokyo, with two 6 day options available - Tuesday 7 January to Monday 13 January and Sunday 12 January to Saturday 18 January.  Accommodation will be at the EN Resort Grandeco Hotel which is ski-in/ski-out for the Grandeco ski resort, the nights of Saturday 11 January and Sunday 12 January will be at the Urabandai Lake Resort Hotel, which is a short drive to both Nekoma Mountain and Grandeco. Day trips to other resorts in the Aizu region, including Minowa and Inawashiro ski areas will also be an option.

 

With at least 18 major ski regions and more than 100 ski resorts (that’s just the major ones, Japan boasts more than 400 ski resorts!), you are doing the right thing thinking about Japan.

 

Europe and North America:

 

In 2025 we will offer the option of skiing in Germany and the United States. We will be doing a 6 night tour at Oberstdorf in Bavaria from Sunday 26 January to Saturday 1 February 2025 staying at Das Freiberg Romantik Hotel, with skiing at up to seven resorts straddling the German-Austrian border. There will also be a 7 night tour in Utah from Wednesday 5 February to Wednesday 12 February, staying at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel Cottonwood and skiing at Alta, Snowbird, Solitude and Brighton resorts.
